Jack Browder (Basketball) @ Anderson: Browder reset his career high with 33 points against the Trojans. He has produced 64 points in his last two games against AU. Mekhi Brown (Football) @ Wingate: Mekhi Brown led the defense with 7.5 tackles, three tackles for a loss and three sacks, the sixth highest single game sack total in school history. He and the rest of the Eagles kept the Bulldogs below 300 yards of total offense in a SAC title game loss.
Jeremiah Carroll (Football) v. Wingate: Carroll was C-N's top offensive producer, catching four passes for 100 yards and the two scores. His touchdown in the third quarter helped absorb the Bulldogs comeback before the Eagles won it in overtime.
Ben Dukes (Soccer) v. Newberry: Ben Dukes paced Carson-Newman's eight-goal eruption versus Newberry on October 23rd, scoring three of his team's eight goals. Dukes' hat trick is the first hat trick since Thaylan Silva's versus Erskine on September 8th, 2021. He scored his three goals in exactly 20 minutes and 15 seconds, the third fastest hat trick in the past 15 seasons. It's just the fourth time that a hat trick has occurred all in one half. Tobias Solem Karlsen did it versus North Greenville in 2019, Taylor Jolley vs Newberry in 2011 and Thaylan Silva versus Erksine in 2021.
Trey Hubbard (Basketball) v. Tusculum: Hubbard spent the majority of the first half in a scoring role. He dropped 28 first-half points before finishing with 30 – a career-high. He was ignorantly effective from the field, making 13-of-15 shots and all three of his threes. In the second half, he turned into a distrubutor, dolling out four of his six assists.
Braden Ilic (Basketball) @ Emory & Henry: Ilic was the primary distributor. He chased a triple-double with 17 points, all in the second half, nine assists, seven boards and four blocks. He becomes the first Eagle to lead C-N in four statistical categories since Jack Browder did so against Lenoir-Rhyne on Feb. 10 last season. Ilic reset his career marks for points, assists and blocks.
Colten Lee (Cross Country) @ SAC Championships: Colten Lee competed in the South Atlantic Conference Championships on Oct. 26th where he secured a 6th place finish in the men's 8K in a time of 24:34.6 which earned him All-SAC honors.
Paul Moser (Soccer) v. AUM: Three days after recording his first career shutout, Moser continued his success in goal by recording his second shutout in four days versus #5 Auburn Montgomery. Moser made three saves in the scoreless draw and helped limit AUM to just 10 shots.
Paul Moser (Soccer) v. West Ala: Moser was terrific in Carson-Newman's first win of the season over a receiving votes West Alabama squad. The graduate student recorded a career-high six saves to help blank the Tigers on Sept 16. He made three saves in each half.

Smith's kick is the first game-winning kick by a C-N kicker since Christian Erwin's 44-yarder against UVA Wise in the spring CoVID season in 2021. Smith is also the first Eagle kicker since Erwin's day against the Highland Cavaliers to connect on three or more field goals in a game. Smith also drilled field goals from 38 and 37 yards, in addition to his game-winning kick. He was named SAC Special Teams Player of the Week.
Jayden Sullins (Football) v. Barton: Carson-Newman junior fullback Jayden Sullins has picked up Tennessee Sports Writers' Association state offensive player of the week honors following his record-book altering day against Barton.
