JEFFFERSON CITY, Tenn. - Football players from Carson-Newman's 1972 NAIA National runner up team will be recognized at halftime when the 2022 C-N football team squares off with Limestone Saturday.
The reunion festivities begin on Friday for the 50th anniversary of Carson-Newman football's first national title game appearance.

Halftime
From 11:00 a.m. - 12:45 p.m. at the football practice field, alumni, fans, parents and students are welcome to set up tents and tailgate pregame. Prohibited: Open flames/grills, alcohol, and large stakes should not be driven into the ground for tents.
At 11:30 a.m., a meal catered by Texas Roadhouse will be available to Orange Eagle level Eagle Club members and above in the Eagle Club Hospitality Room.
Finally, at 12:15 p.m., the Carson-Newman marching band will start a new tradition with the Eagle Marchover and process/play from the Tarr Music Center across campus to Burke-Tarr Stadium with a pep rally by the practice field.
