Five Beach Volleyball Athletes Named to CSC Academic All-District Team

JEFFERSON CITY, Tenn. – Five beach volleyball athletes have been named CSC Academic All-District selections in Kat Nelson, Paige Halcrow, Sierra Still, Mckenna Hall, and Truth Hafey.

Nelson, a biochemistry major, maintained a 4.0 GPA in the 2023-24 academic year. On the sand court, the Sioux Falls native played an integral part in the winning season for the Eagles, posting a 17-16 overall record.

Halcrow, majoring in exercise science, excelled in the classroom with a 3.87 GPA. The junior was also a major contributor to this year's team, accumulating 20 wins in the 2024 campaign.

In her senior year, Still posted a 3.55 GPA as an exercise science major. The Julian, North Carolina native, played predominantly in the No. 1 spot this season for C-N, posting a productive 18-13 mark.

Hall, majoring in business marketing, maintained a 3.77 GPA. Playing indoors and beach, Hall had a productive season on the sand court, collecting 16 wins in the 2024 season.

Hafey was an effective piece on and off the court in her graduate year at C-N. Majoring in business administration, Hafey posted a 3.79 GPA. On the sand court, the Grand Junction, Colorado native, won 20 matches, 13 of them coming at the No. 1 position.
