KANSAS CITY, Kan. — The Carson-Newman women's soccer team dropped two spots to No. 10 in the latest Division II National Soccer Coaches' Association of America poll, NSCAA officials announced Tuesday.

The Lady Eagles (12-1-1), who went 1-1 last week, are also ranked second in the Southeast Region.

West Florida is No. 1, followed by Saint Rose (N.Y.), Columbus State, Seattle Pacific (Wash.) and Grand Valley State (Mich.).

Tusculum, the only other South Atlantic Conference team in the poll, fell one spot to No. 22.

Columbus State holds the top spot in the Southeast Region, while Tusculum is third.

Other SAC teams listed in the regional rankings are Newberry (fourth), Catawba (sixth) and Wingate (seventh).

Three automatic berths to the NCAA Division II Southeast Region Tournament in November will be awarded to the tournament champions of the SAC, Peach Belt and Conference Carolinas. Three teams will also receive at-large berths.
