JEFFERSON CITY, Tenn. -  In the  Lady Eagles' home South Atlantic Conference opener, C-N defeated Catawba by a score of 6-3.  The Lady Eagles swept the doubles to start strong and then won three of the six singles matches to secure the victory.  Seniors Amanda Bartlett (Powder Springs, Ga.) and Elizabeth Sneed (Kingsport, Tenn.) along with junior Taryn Cappadona (Kennesaw, Ga.) won both doubles and singles matches to lead the Lady Eagles.  C-N is now 6-1 overall and 1-1 in conference play.  The Lady Eagles return to action on Saturday March 20 in Jefferson City against Wingate .  Match time is 11:00 a.m.
