DAHLONEGA, Ga. — The Carson-Newman women's tennis team dropped a 5-4 decision to North Georgia on Sunday afternoon at the North Georgia Tennis Complex.

With the loss, the Lady Eagles fall to 11-4 on the season.

While C-N took two of the three doubles matches, it could only manage two singles victories.

Doubles winners for the Lady Eagles were senior Amanda Bartlett (Powder Springs, Ga.) and junior Taryn Cappadona (Kennesaw, Ga.) at No. 1 and Kylie Elliott (Maryville, Tenn.) and Megan Wilson (Maryville, Tenn.) at No. 2.

Singles winners for C-N were Stephanie Goode (Alcoa, Tenn.) at No. 5 and Tiffany Delias (Morristown, Tenn.) at No. 6.

The Lady Eagles return to the court against North Greenville on Tuesday in Jefferson City. Match time is 2 p.m.
