ROCK HILL, S.C. – The South Atlantic Conference released its all-conference teams on Wednesday morning, Joao Pedro Oliveira (Porto Alegre, Brazil) was named to both the singles and doubles first teams with doubles partner Gabriel Dabdab (Rio de Janeiro, Brazil).
In singles action this season Oliveira went 11-8 overall and 7-4 in SAC play as the Eagles No. 1 singles player. The senior had a career best five-match winning streak from March 24 – April 8. Oliveira was named South Atlantic Conference player of the week for the week of April 3 this season. Oliveira was also named a preseason second-team all-sac selection this season. The native of Brazil finished his career at Mossy Creek with 26 wins, most of which came at the No. 1 position.
Oliveira and doubles partner Dabdab were named to the First-Team All-SAC doubles teams for their performance on the court. The tandem compiled a 12-6 overall record on the season and a 9-1 record in conference play. The duo were 1-1 at No. 1 doubles, but had a 10-4 mark at the No. 2 doubles position. The pairing had a four-match win streak this season from March 28 – April 8.
