Wilson named to SAC All-Tournament team

HICKORY, N.C. – Senior middle blocker Jenna Wilson (Rancho Cucamonga, Calif.) became the first Carson-Newman volleyball player since Angelle Hayes and Nikki James in 2009 to be named to the South Atlantic Conference's All-Tournament team.

"Just like her regular season, she continues to dominant at the net," head coach Dan Ahiers said. "We've really relied on her in big moments this season and she came through once again in postseason play."

Wilson started the tournament with nine kills and a .389 attack percentage and three block assists in a Carson-Newman sweep over Mars Hill. She capped her tournament with 19 kills on a .318 attack percentage, one solo block and four block assists.
