FAIRMONT, W. Va. – Carson-Newman (2-2) took four of six singles points and the doubles point to assemble a dominant road performance against Fairmont State (0-1), winning 5-2.
The Eagles took the top four matches in singles before dropping the final two. Natasha Forrest and Anita Chornei locked down the No. 1 and 2 spots, while Summer Reeves and _Suryanshi helped secure the win for C-N in the No. 3 and 4 singles.

The Eagles found similar success in doubles, with the only loss coming in the No. 2 slot, as Anita Chornei and Julia Speiser fell in a tight contest. The preseason All-SAC duo of Natasha Forrest and Summer Reeves dominated in the No. 1 doubles, while Leah McBride and _Suryanshi clinched the doubles point with a close win in the No. 3 slot.
