ROCK HILL, SC - Due to the cancellation of events for the 2021 season at the JDL Fast Track in Winston-Salem, NC, the South Atlantic Conference announced the cancellation of the SAC Indoor Track & Field Championships for 2021.

We regret having to make the very difficult decision to cancel the SAC Indoor Track & Field Championships," said SAC Commissioner Patrick Britz. "The South Atlantic Conference and its member institutions are committed to providing our student-athletes with as many opportunities to compete in their respective sports as possible, but, unfortunately, circumstances that were completely out of our control have prevented us from being able to conduct a safe and quality championship experience this year. We look forward to having all of our track & field student-athletes competing in the upcoming SAC Outdoor Track & Field Championships later this spring."

The conference will still look to hold the 2021 SAC Outdoor Championships at Lenoir-Rhyne University April 24-25.

Carson-Newman is scheduled to compete as a team at the 2021 Buccaneer Invitational in Johnson City, Tenn. on Feb. 5-6.
