Moore Completes Weekend Sweep as Eagles Finish Weekend in Johnson City

RESULTS

JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. - Devon Moore continued his dominance, winning the 60 meter run for the second day in a row.

The men swept the top three spots in the 60 meter dash, with Moore winning finishing first with a time of 6.97 seconds. This is Moore's third event win of the weekend.

Sterling Melancon finishing second at 7.02 seconds, and Zuriel Jimpson finishing third at 7.06 seconds. Austin Greer tied his personal best with a time of 7.11 seconds, finishing fifth, while Jordan Hibbert also tied his personal best at 7.16 seconds, finishing sixth.

Isaiah Weasby set a new personal best with his seventh place finish time of 7.20 seconds as did Camden Fritz with his time of 7.56 seconds for a ninth place finish. 

After competing all three days in Johnson City, Raymond Brugmans ended his weekend with a win in the mile at the "Run As Fast As You Can" Meet.

Brugmans won the event with a time of 4:35.57, beating the second place runner by almost seven seconds. 

Will Kolb also set a PR in the mile with a time 5:04.64 with a fourth place finish.

On the women's side, Madison Dockery set a new personal best with a sixth place finish in the mile after a time of 5:53.42. Rachel Shaver finished eighth with a time of 6:59.92. 

In the 400 meter run, Anslee McGlocklin just missed a new personal best with a time of 1:03.82 and a sixth place finish, while Alexis Brown set a personal best at 1:13.53 and finished seventh. On the men's side, KJ Laribo finished second with a time of 51.89 while Christian Henry set a new personal best with an sixth place finishing time of 54.99. Trent Lovelace finished fourth with a personal best time of 53.25 seconds.

Amanda Lowe continued her strong weekend in the 60 meter run with another event win, this time with a time of 7.85 seconds. Tia Davis finished fourth with a time of 7.90 seconds, while Leah Sohm continued to excel in her track & field debut, finishing 10th with a time of 8.39 seconds. Faith Nelms finished 13th with a time of 8.59 seconds, with Karolina Herastovska and Abby Tomkoski both setting personal bests with Herastovska finishing 16th at 9.32 seconds and Tomkoski finishing 17th at 9.36 seconds. 

In the 800 meter run, Rachel Strayer set a personal best with a time of 2:24.47 and a fifth place finish. On the men's side, Hunter Miller finished fourth with a time of 2:09.03, while Channler Moran-Boothe set a personal best with a time of 2:21.78 and a fifth place finish. Benjamin White finished sixth with a time of 2:37.04.

The Eagles will have this weekend off before they are scheudled to head to Roanoke College in Salem Va. on Feb. 19-20 for the Finn Pincus Invitational.
