Rain postpones C-N's matchup with Pioneers

JEFFERSON CITY, Tenn. - With rain in the forecast for much of East Tennessee today and tomorrow, Carson-Newman (7-0) and Tusculum (2-5) have postponed tomorrow afternoon's contest. 

The game has been rescheduled for Wednesday, March 19th at 3:00 p.m. at Pioneer Park. Both sides are scheduled to meet the day before as well at the Silver Diamond Baseball Complex. 

The Eagles are 7-0 to start the 2025 season, matching the program's best start in modern history (since 1990).

Carson-Newman turns its attention to its first conference series of the season this weekend with Emory & Henry. The three-game home weekend series is scheduled to begin on Friday at 2:00 p.m. All games will air with a video stream available on FloSports with a subscription. There will also be a free audio stream available courtesy of the Eagle Sports Network on cneagles.com/live.
