JEFFERSON CITY, Tenn. – Registration is still open for the two four-day I.D. camps for high school-aged girls and boys and the kids' camp for children ages five to 13 this summer that will be hosted by Carson-Newman soccer coach Richard Moodie.
The kids' camp is from June 13 to 16 and is slated to run from 9 a.m. to noon each day on McCown Field. The cost of the camp is 100 dollars and includes: a camp gift, a camp certificate, collegiate level coaching and 100 percent guaranteed fun. The camp will work on the techniques and fundamentals of the game.
The boys' I.D. camp designed for high school students and rising ninth graders will span from June 17 to 20, while the girls' I.D. camp runs from June 24 to 27.
The camp costs 375 dollars. All campers receive a complimentary t-shirt for attending as well as an evaluation from the Carson-Newman coaching staff. The camp attendees will also have the ability to play with existing collegiate athletes. For goalkeepers, there will be keeper specific training with the Carson-Newman goalkeeping coach.
Meals and housing will be provided for the week. Campers are advised to bring indoor shoes in case there is inclement weather.
Former participants for Carson-Newman's I.D. camps have spanned from across the United States and across the globe. In recent years, the C-N coaching staff had limited numbers for each camp but is now welcoming any and everyone to participate.
