Janse, Jankulovski, Van Dalen, and Hordijk Featured on All-Conference Teams

ROCK HILL, S.C. - Carson-Newman men's tennis (12-7, 10-2 South Atlantic Conference) features four South Atlantic All-Conference honors, as announced on Wednesday.

Senior Marc Janse earned first-team singles all-conference laurels for the second time in his career. Janse first earned the honors his sophomore year, then earned second-team honors his junior year. Janse finished the season with a record of 14-5, including a 9-4 record as Carson-Newman's one player. He finished 10-2 against conference opponents.

Sophomore Gjorgji Jankulovski was placed on the conference's second team. The Macedonia native finished with a team-high 16 wins this season. Jankulovski set a new program record for conference wins when he finished the season 12-0 in conference matchups.

Sophomore Marnix Van Dalen earned his second all-conference laurels when he was placed on the conference's second singles team. Van Dalen finished third on the team with 12 singles victories, primarily as Carson-Newman's two, where he collected 9 of his wins. Van Dalen was 8-3 against conference opponents.

After leading the team in doubles victories, Van Dalen and Lars Hordijk landed second-team all-conference doubles honors. This season, the duo was 12-1, including ten wins against conference foes. The pair finished the regular season on a four-game win streak.

The Eagles head to Sumter, S.C. on Thursday to take on Lincoln Memorial University (14-9, 7-5 SAC) in the South Atlantic Conference Championship Quarterfinals starting at 2:00 P.M.
