Williamsburg, KY – The Carson-Newman women's tennis team played competitively despite only having three healthy players compete in the Cumberlands Tournament.

 

"I was most impressed with freshman Lindy Tatum," head coach Jean Love said, "She played some good tennis in singles and she teamed with Mallory Jackson in doubles."

 

Mallory Jackson and Lindy Tatum won the only doubles match they played in 8-3, the finals were cancelled due to weather.

 

"Mallory Jackson provided some good leadership during the doubles match," Love following the match.

 

Mallory Jackson lost at #2 singles 6-2, 6-2. Lindy Tatum won her semifinals match 6-3, 6-1, but lost in the final round to Rhinehardt at #3 singles.

 

This was final match of the Fall Season for the Eagles.
