Eagle tennis openers pushed back

JEFFERSON CITY, Tenn. – Due to the threat of inclement weather, Carson-Newman's men's and women's tennis teams' Sunday openers at Lenoir-Rhyne have been postponed. 

The Eagles and Bears will play March 24 at 1 p.m. in Hickory, N.C. 

Carson-Newman is led by all-SAC doubles tandems Paul Birdsong and Derek Holdway on the men's side and Stefy Stand and Patricia Guerreiro on the the women's side.  

C-N will now open the season at Alabama-Huntsville on February 22.
