SALISBURY, NC—Carson-Newman (4-3, 2-1 SAC) couldn't get it done on the road on Saturday afternoon, as Catawba (4-5, 3-0 SAC) stayed unblemished in conference play with a 5-2 win.
It was a competitive day in singles, as three of the six matches between C-N and Catawba went to three sets. In those three matches, the Indians came out on top in two of the three. The two points on the day for the Eagles came on wins by Gjorgji Jankulovski in No.3 and Lars Hordijk in No. 5.

Catawba swept doubles, taking all three matches to secure the point. Despite the losses, C-N kept each match within three games.
