JEFFERSON CITY, Tenn. – For the second time this spring, Carson-Newman women's soccer player Felicia Frick (Eschen, Liechtenstein) has been called up to compete for the Liechtenstein national team in their upcoming UEFA Nations League Games.

Frick will play in two international contests in the UEFA Nations League over the next two weeks. The opponents are Kazakhstan and Luxembourg, both matches of which will be played in Liechtenstein.

"It's just very exciting," Frick said. "Every time you get called up to play for your national team it is something special. It's an honor to play for your country. I know all the players very well and we grew up together and have played together for a lot of years. It's nice to achieve the next step and play in a big tournament like the Nations league together."

In her first two games with her national team in the UEFA Nations League earlier this spring, Frick played the full 90 minutes and recorded an assist in her efforts on the field.

"It was a very interesting experience," Frick said. "It is a very different kind of game on the international stage. It's very physical and the speed is a bit different as well. You can gain a lot of new experiences that I can hopefully bring back here."

The midfielder is the fifth Carson-Newman player coached by Simon Duffy to be called up to compete for their national team, joining Jackie Burns, current teammate Berna Kabakci, Catatrina Realista and Lauren Wade.

Over her first three seasons in Mossy Creek, Frick has made 49 starts and has scored nine goals and dished out seven assists. The two-time All-SAC player is C-N's all-time leader in penalty kick goals with seven. She is a perfect seven for seven on PK attempts and has made multiple in each of her three seasons.
