JEFFERSON CITY, Tenn. - The Eagles add two more sweeps to the record this season after their second day in Laurinburg, NC.
On Day two of their weekend spent nextdoor, Carson-Newman matched up with St. Andrews at 8 am and Spartanburg Methodist at 12 pm. Both ended in 5-0 fashion in favor of the Eagles.

Match 2 vs Spartanburg Methodist
The Eagles swept Spartanburg for the second time on the weekend and third time in history, winning by a margin of 210-95.
The freshman combo Ehlers and Foy collected the largest margin on victory of the day with scores of 21-4 and 21-6 in the fourth flight. Halcrow and Fountain in the three seed were right behind allowing only 11 points scored with counts of 21-8 and 21-3.

The Eagles will take the upcoming weekend off and hit the road again on Feb 23-24. They will head to Berry college for the second year in a row and play matches with Erskine, LaGrange, Tennessee Tech, and Berry College.
