Eagles record 10th and 11th straight wins of the year

JEFFERSON CITY, Tenn.- The Carson-Newman sand Eagles go 4-0 after a weekend spent on the banks of Mossy Creek, and record their 10th and 11th straight wins of the season. 

The Eagles matched with Erskine and Catawba this weekend, twice a piece and wound up with two 5-0 sweeps, and two 4-1 wins. 

In Saturday's matches, C-N beat Catawba 5-0 and Erskine 4-1.

After this weekend's success, Carson-Newman is now on an eight game winning streak against the Indians. The last time Catawba beat the Eagles was in 2021. 

All five flight beat their opponents, with only Morgan Foy and Camryn Ehlers at the fourth seed coming to a third set decision. 

Mckenna Hall and Paige Halcrow once again scorched their competition and only allowed a total 13 points from Catawba's Willingham and Calkins. The Hall/Halcrow combination also held the largest marginal wins in both matches the previous day. 

Carson-Newman has now matched up againt Erskine three times this season and have only allowed a collective 5 sets total to be taken from them.
