Eagles host Liberty for senior night

JEFFERSON CITY, Tenn. - Carson-Newman beach volleyball will host the Liberty Flames for a double header on Saturday at noon and 2 pm where they will commemorate the program's three graduating seniors. 

Senior night festivites will begin shortly before first serve, at 11:30 am on the beach courts. Carson-Newman will recognize Sierra Still, Truth Hafey, and Mckenna Hall for their time as Eagles. 

The Flames are 11-9 in their season and are currently running a five game winning streak. They are 5-3 on home turn and 6-6 away. 

C-N opened up their season against Liberty on Feb. 9 and lost 3-2. The Eagles won seeds 1 and 3 and lost in seeds 2, 4, and 5. 

The Eagles and Flames are now 1-1 since their first meeting last season. 

Since their early February matchup, Liberty has gone 8-4 and Carson-Newman has gone 14-7. 

The double header matches with Liberty will begin at noon and 2 pm on Friday after the senior night ceremony at 11:30 am.
