Jefferson City, Tenn. - Carson-Newman's women's tennis released its schedule for the 2023 spring season.

Carson-Newman will kick off the season with a trip to Dahlonega, Ga., to take on the University of North Georgia on Feb. 5^th. The Eagles will have their sights set on Lander on Feb. 10^th when they head to Greenwood, S.C.

Carson-Newman will return to Harrogate, Tenn., to take on Union College on Feb. 12^th. Charry's squad returns to Lincoln, Memorial's tennis complex once again when they face off against Lees-McRae on Feb. 18^th.

The Eagles head to Young Harris, Ga., on Feb. 19^th to compete against Young Harris University. Carson-Newman closes out February with a match at Lee University on the 25^th.

Carson-Newman's first home appearance and conference opponent comes on Mar. 4^th when they match up against Catawba College. On the 8^th, the Eagles will head to Hickory, S.C., to face off against Lenoir-Rhyne University. Next, Charry's squad will travel to Limestone University on Mar. 11^th.

The Tusculum Pioneers will travel to Carson-Newman's Charles A. "Buddy" Catlett Tennis Complex on Mar. 15^th. The Eagles will then travel to face off against Anderson University on Mar. 18^th. The Eagles will close out the month of March with home games against Coker (Mar. 25^th) and Emory and Henry (Mar. 29^th).

On Apr. 1^st, the Eagles will face off against one of their more formidable opponents of the season when they head to Wingate University. The Eagles will then make their 3^rd  trip to Harrogate, Tenn., to take on Lincoln Memorial University's Railsplitters on the 5^th. Two days later, Charry's squad will travel to take on Virgina-Wise.

Carson-Newman's final home match comes on Apr. 11^th against Mars Hill. The final match of the season will be at Newberry on the 15^th.  

The Eagles finished last season with a 17-5 record, including a 10-2 record in conference play. The Eagles picked up five wins over ITA top 40 opponents. The women's team ranked 22^nd to close out last year's spring season.
