TEMPE, Ariz. - Carson-Newman women's tennis (4-12, 4-7 South Atlantic Conference) features a top-75 ITA singles player for the fifth straight week. Anita Chornei lands at no. 75 on the ITA's most recent list released on Apr. 12^th.

Chornei has spent most of her year as Carson-Newman's one player where she holds a record of 7-9, including a 1-0 record against nationally ranked opponents. Chornei holds a career record of 33-19 in singles play.

The Eagles are scheduled to finish their season with a matchup against Newberry on Saturday. Carson-Newman must win against Newberry and Coker to lose one of its two remaining games for the Eagles to qualify for the conference tournament starting on Apr. 20^th.
