JEFFERSON CITY, Tenn. – Carson-Newman beach volleyball takes a road trip to Salisbury, N.C. for the first SAC Conference Weekend of the 2025 season on Friday, March 7-8.

The Eagles prepare to take on their first conference meet of the season at Catawba College in Salisbury, N.C. this weekend. During the two-day meet, the Eagles will take the court against Catawba, Erskine, Emmanuel and Wingate. 

Kicking off the weekend, C-N goes head to with the Catawba Indians who currently sit with a 4-0 record on the season. Last season saw the Eagles take on the Catawba Indians three times where the Eagles went 3-0. Carson-Newman and Catawba are set to tip off at 8:00 a.m. for the first match of the meet. 

Next up for C-N is the Erskine Flying Fleet who the Eagles have had many run-ins up to this point in the season. The Flying fleet are 2-6 on the season with three of those losses coming by the way of C-N. This match is slated to begin at 12:30 p.m. and is the final match of the first day of competition. 

The Eagles start off day two with an 11:00 a.m. matchup versus the Lions of Emmanuel. Emmanuel is currently sitting with a 2-0 record on the season and is looking for their first win in conference play. This is the first ever matchup between the Eagles and Lions in beach volleyball. 

To close out the weekend, C-N wraps up with a 2:00 p.m. matchup with the Wingate Bulldogs in the first meeting between the two schools in beach volleyball. Wingate is sitting at a 2-4 record and looking to get their first win in SAC play.
