JEFFERSON CITY, Tenn. – Carson-Newman beach volleyball welcomes Catawba, Erskine, Emmanuel, and Wingate to Mossy Creek on Friday, April 4, beginning at 11:00 a.m. for the second conference weekend of the season.

The Eagles will host four other SAC/CC teams on the beach volleyball courts in Jefferson City, Tenn. for a two-day conference meet running April 4-5.

C-N opens the weekend at 11:00 a.m. with the first matchup against the Catawba Indians. The Catawba Indians currently hold a record of 12-4 overall and 6-2 in conference play. The team's only conference losses are to Carson-Newman and Wingate following the first conference weekend in Salisbury, N.C.

The Eagles take the court for their second match against the Erskine Flying Fleet, who have a 5-15 record, with two of their losses coming at the hands of the Eagles. This match is slated for a 3:30 p.m. start.

Day two of the conference weekend kicks off with a matchup against Emmanuel, beginning at 11:00 a.m. The Lions have a 12-13 overall record and are 3-1 in conference play entering this weekend. The Eagles faced their toughest conference challenge against the Lions during the first weekend, where the Eagles barely secured a 3-2 victory.

The final match of the weekend sees the Eagles take on the Wingate Bulldogs, who come into the weekend with an 8-16 record. The Bulldogs have a 1-8 conference record, with their only win coming against Catawba.

The Eagles boast an impressive 16-4 overall record and are undefeated in conference play, sitting at 8-0 on the season. Carson-Newman looks to close out the regular season undefeated in conference play, heading into the SAC/CC Championships on April 11-12.
