ROCK HILL, S.C. – The league office announced on Friday that two Carson-Newman women's golfers have been named to the All-SAC teams, with Ida Petersen earning second-team honors and Madison Cline on the third-team.

The Copenhagen, Denmark native has delivered a stellar junior campaign with a 76-stroke average while earning two top-ten finishes. Petersen placed seventh in the Battle at Hilton Head and eighth at the Jerry Surrate Memorial. She carded a pair of season-low 71s, once in the third round of the Oldfield Intercollegiate to finish 11th and in the second round of the Patsy Rendleman Invitational.

"It is really nice to be recognized for all my hard work," Petersen said. "I'm looking forward to building on the last couple of performances… I've been working on some things mentally, and my swing and I'm looking forward to how it will come together at the SAC Championships."

Cline earned third-team honors following a solid spring with a 76.4 stroke average, notching three top-20 finishes at the LeeAnn Noble Memorial, Oldfield Intercollegiate, and Battle at Hilton Head. Cline's best performance came in a 2-over 19th place finish at the LeeAnn Noble Memorial, carding a 69-stroke third round to finish in the top 20. Most recently, Cline finished 6th at the Patsy Rendleman Invitational.

"It shows me how far I've come," Cline said. "It was difficult managing the transition in my freshman year, but over the years, I've improved, and it's made me proud of how far I've come."

Petersen and Cline's success has played a big role in C-N's resurgence in 2025, helping the Eagles to a No. 17 ranking in the South region in the most recent NCAA DII Regional Rankings.

C-N will be able to solidify its standing in the region further on Sunday through Tuesday by competing in the SAC Championships in Greenville, South Carolina.
