Baseball forced to postpone Wednesday's game against UVA-Wise

JEFFERSON CITY, Tenn. - Due to a heavy pounding of snow to the Silver Diamond Baseball Complex, Carson-Newman baseball's game against UVA-Wise originally scheduled for Wednesday at 2 p.m. has been postponed with no make-up date set.

The mushy white stuff has caused all sorts of issues for the Eagles baseball team that included a series against Anderson (S.C.) last weekend being moved from Mossy Creek to South Carolina.

Head coach Tom Griffin and company are hoping that the hindrences from the harden moisture will allow this weekend's series against Tusculum to be played in full. The first game of the weekend is scheduled for 2 p.m. Friday at the Silver Diamond Baseball Complex.
