Snow pushes baseball's series with Tusculum back a day

JEFFERSON CITY, Tenn. - With several inches of snow berating Mossy Creek over the past week, the Carson-Newman baseball team is aiming for its regularly scheduled doubleheader Saturday and a game at 2 p.m. Sunday against the Tusculum Pioneers. 

The series was initially set to begin Friday afternoon. The team has been out on the field of the Silver Diamond Baseball Complex all day in an effort to clear the field for play this weekend.
