Likelihood of steady rain pushes baseball's series back

NEWBERRY, S.C. - With an 80 percent chance of precipitation for Friday afternoon, Carson-Newman and Newberry have decided to push back their series one day. The originally scheduled doubleheader for 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. on Saturday will start the three-game set with the series concluding at 1 p.m. on Sunday afternoon.

The Wolves (25-16) and the Eagles (23-15) are two of the hottest teams in the South Atlantic Conference with Newberry on a five-game winning streak and Carson-Newman is riding an eight-game winning streak.
