JEFFERSON CITY, Tenn. – Moment eight on the Carson-Newman Athletics New Year's Countdown of the best moments from the fall comes men's golf and Jonathan Kim-Moss' finish in the final tournament of the fall at the McDonough Cup.

Kim-Moss notched his fourth straight top-10 finish as he came in tied for second place in the tournament. He shot 5-under-par for the event, finishing only four strokes back of the winner Robert Prior of Lander who was 9-under-par for the tournament.

Kim-Moss finished his solid tournament with a 1-under-par 71, and he was at or under-par in all three rounds played at Eagle Creek Golf Club.  For perspective, Kim-Moss had six under par rounds all fall to lead C-N.

The tie for second was also the second consecutive top-five finish for Kim-Moss after he finished in fifth place at the TVA Credit Union Classic in Florence, Ala.

For all intents and purposes, he finished the fall at even par across all events.  Kim-Moss has a .889 winning percentage from the fall.

As a team, the Eagles' 283 in the second round of the McDonough Cup was the second lowest round for that day.
