Price was also able to start her day off with another doubles victory alongside sophomore Natasha Forrest (Jersey, United Kingdom) with a 6-1 decision. The duo have now won 12 out of their 14 matches this season to lead the team in doubles.

Resende is now an imposing 7-1 against SAC opponents which is best on the team. Resende also was able to tie her teammate Alisa Liashova (Ukraine) with 30 career singles victories.

The Eagles have seen consistency from the three freshman singles players all season and Tuesday was just another notch on the ladder of learning. Freshman Viola Khisamova (Yaroslavl, Russia) saw another match from the number two singles position and was able to claim a 7-5, 6-2 result. This moves the freshman to 6-8 in 2021 to begin her Eagles career.

She is now 8-6 on the year and saw both a victory in singles 6-3, 6-3 but was able to push C-N across with a 6-3 result at number three doubles alongside teammate Julia Speiser. The duo have seen success while playing together as they have collected a 9-4 doubles record.

Speiser has played the majority of matches for C-N from number six singles this year as she pushed across another win, sitting at 6-7 on the season. Tuesday saw a 6-0, 6-1 result fall to Speiser as she wrapped up her day and then cheered the team on finish the sweep.

As Tuesday belonged to C-N, the Eagles move their win streak to six straight over Mars Hill and collect their second consecutive sweep as they were able to sweep Mars Hill 7-0 back in 2019. Overall, C-N has dominated home court advantage against the Lions recently as they are move their home winning streak to three when the Lions come to Mossy Creek.

The Eagles will hope to return to action for another midweek contest, this time against the Tusculum Pioneers on Wednesday from Greeneville. First serve is set for 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday between the Pioneers and Eagles.
