Oracle ITA Division II Singles Rankings 

TEMPE, Ariz. – Carson-Newman women's tennis keeps its place as one of the top 50 programs in the Oracle ITA Division II National Team Rankings for another voting period. The Eagles, who finished their 2021 campaign with a 13-7 record (8-4 SAC) and a 2021 SAC semifinals appearance, come in at number 39 out of the top 50 programs in all Division II. 

Carson-Newman is joined in the top-50 by fellow SAC members: Wingate at number 13, Queens (N.C.) at number 24, and Tusculum at number 38.

Along with the national team ranking, the Eagles also have junior Ana Carla Resende (Minas Gerais, Brazil) being placed in the Oracle ITA Division II National Singles rankings for the latest rankings. The junior led the squad in 2021 with another impressive season at number one singles and doubles. Thanks to her efforts throughout the season, the Brazil native was garnered as the 43rd ranked player in Division II women's tennis.

Resende is the third-highest ranked singles player in the SAC behind Annie McCullough of Tusculum at number 32 and Yana Fleyer from Queens (N.C.) at number 33. The only other SAC women's singles player ranked in the top-50 is Elena Bompieri from Wingate.
