Eagles' match with Newberry postponed

JEFFERSON CITY, Tenn. -- The Carson-Newman men's and women's tennis match scheduled for Sunday against the Newberry Wolves has been postponed due to weather forecast that call for freezing rain in the Carolinas that could cause hazardous travel conditions.

The Eagles were slated to host the Wolves on Sunday at the Carson-Newman Tennis Complex at 1 p.m. 

A reschedule date has not been set for either match. 

This is the fourth consecutive match cancelled for the Eagles. 

Carson-Newman will host Southern Wesleyan Tuesday afternoon at the Carson-Newman Tennis Complex on March 3rd at 1:30 p.m.
