Traffic prevents tennis action Friday

JEFFERSON CITY, Tenn. - En route to the Carson-Newman Tennis Complex, the University of Cumberlands tennis teams encountered a heavy logjam of traffic preventing its teams from making it to Mossy Creek for Friday's match.

There is no makeup date scheduled for Friday's event as the Eagles had to postpone their sixth match in a row. 

Carson-Newman will now try to host the Mars Hill Lions Saturday afternoon at the Carson-Newman Tennis Complex on March 7th at 1 p.m in what will serve as the Eagles' South Atlantic Conference opener.
