Stringle earns honorable mention All-Conference honors from the SAC

JEFFERSON CITY, Tenn. – Carson-Newman women's soccer's Senior Danna Stringle (Woodstock, Ontario, Canada) received honorable mention All-SAC honors, the league office announced Wednesday afternoon.

 

Stringle ended her season leading the Eagles in points with 12. She contributed five goals and two assists on the year.

 

On Oct. 26, Stringle scored the winning goal in C-N's 1-0 victory over Queens, then 10th in the region.

 

She finished ninth in the conference with 48 shots and her 12 points tied her for 18th in the SAC.

 

Carson-Newman advanced to the conference tournament for the first time in three years.  Stringle is C-N's first all-conference pick since 2011 when Trenna Howell and Sara Tompkins were honored by the league office.
