Kazee-Hollifield to throw out first pitch during “Carson-Newman Night” Friday at Smokies Park

JEFFERSON CITY, Tenn. - Carson-Newman University invites all those who love the Orange & Blue to a night of baseball at Smokies Park on Friday, August 22. The game has been designated "Carson-Newman Night."

Those attending are encouraged to wear their Eagle colors.

The Tennessee Smokies will take on the Jacksonville Suns starting at 7:15 p.m. Gates open at 6 p.m.

Eagles head softball coach Vickee Hollifield will throw out the first pitch. With 1,025 wins, Hollifield is the winningest coach in South Atlantic Conference history in any sport. She is a 10-time South Atlantic Conference Coach of the Year has guided the Lady Eagles to 12 NCAA tournament berths, including seven consecutive NCAA Tournament appearances from 2004-2011.
