Venue, dates changed for C-N's visit to SAC/Conference Carolinas Challenge

BANNER ELK, N.C. - The dates, times and venues for Carson-Newman's matchups in the SAC/Conference Carolinas Challenge the weekend of Nov. 9 have been shifted.

Originally scheduled for Nov. 8-9 in Banner Elk, N.C. at Lees-McRae's Williams Gym, historic flooding in from Hurricane Helene has necessitated a venue change.  

Carson-Newman will still take on King and Lees-McRae in that order, however, it will be at Appalachian State's Holmes Convocation Center on Nov. 9-10, Saturday and Sunday, instead.  

Carson-Newman will take on King at approximately 5:30 p.m. Nov. 9.  Tipoff is tentatively set for 5:30 p.m. and will follow the conclusion of App State's volleyball match with Marshall at 1 p.m.  

The Eagles and Lees-McRae will follow on Sunday at 3 p.m.  

All games will be broadcast on the Eagle Sports Network at cneagles.com/live. Saturday's game will be web only, while Sunday's against Lees-McRae can be heard over the air on MIX 105.5 (WSEV-FM, Sevierville).
