NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Jack Browder (Kingsport, Tenn.) has completed the trifecta for weekly trophies.

After earning SAC Player of the Week honors Monday, and NABC Division II National Player of the Week earlier Tuesday, the Tennessee Sportswriters Association has presented Browder with the Tennessee State Player of the Week award.  The organization made the announcement Tuesday evening.

Browder is the first Eagle recognized this year. It is his second time being recognized by the TSWA as state player of the week in his career.

Browder becomes the first Eagle to be selected as the conference's player of the week three times in one season since Charles Clark was chosen five times in his senior year in 2017-18.  Browder is the first Eagle to win the award three times before Christmas.

The junior turned in back-to-back 30-point games, and is the first Eagle this century to score 30 points in three straight games.

He has scored 99 points in a three-game stretch – the fifth time this century a player has scored more than 90 in a three-game span for C-N. Browder's 99 are second only to Charles Clark's 110 during the stretch where he had his 54-point triple-double and earned his second national player of the week award.

For the week, Browder averaged 33 points, 11 rebounds and two blocks per game.  He made 75 percent of his shots, 88.9 percent of his threes and all 16 of his free throws.

He started his week with a career-night in an 87-81 loss to UVA Wise.  He scored 36 points and grabbed 16 boards – both career days.  The 16 rebounds are the tied for the seventh-most in school history and the third-most in the NCAA Division II era.

Browder followed that up with 30 points in Saturday's 98-89 win over Limestone.  Browder connected on all four of his threes against the Cavaliers before going 4-of-5 from deep against Limestone.

Browder and the rest of the Eagles will be in action Saturday at 4 p.m. at Catawba. Pregame coverage on the Eagle Sports Network begins at 3:45 p.m. with the AEC Countdown to Tipoff on Mix 105.5 (WSEV-FM, Sevierville) and online at cneagles.com/live.
