VIDEO: Jack Browder postgame interview

JEFFERSON CITY, Tenn. – For the third time this season and a second consecutive week, Jack Browder (Kingsport, Tenn.) has been the WePlayed Sports SAC Player of the Week, the league office announced Monday afternoon. 

Browder becomes the first Eagle to be selected as the conference's player of the week three times in one season since Charles Clark was chosen five times in his senior year in 2017-18.  Browder is the first Eagle to win the award three times before Christmas. 

The junior turned in back-to-back 30-point games, and is the first Eagle this century to score 30 points in three straight games. 

For the week, Browder averaged 33 points, 11 rebounds and two blocks per game.  He made 75 percent of his shots, 88.9 percent of his threes and all 16 of his free throws. 

He started his week with a career-night in an 87-81 loss to UVA Wise.  He scored 36 points and grabbed 16 boards – both career days.  The 16 rebounds are the tied for the seventh-most in school history and the third-most in the NCAA Division II era. 

Browder followed that up with 30 points in Saturday's 98-89 win over Limestone.  Browder connected on all four of his threes against the Cavaliers before going 4-of-5 from deep against Limestone.
