JEFFERSON CITY, Tenn. – Carson-Newman head coach Carol Bonnes has announced 13 signees for the Lady Eagles' 2011 women's soccer recruiting class.

The Morristown West High School High School trio of Alex Hunt (Morristown, Tenn.), Bailee Wilson (Morristown, Tenn.), and Emily Lambert (Morristown, Tenn.) headline a class that includes eight east Tennessee signees.

The rest of the Lady Eagles' signees include; Teammates Adrienne Aumell (Sevierville, Tenn./Sevier Co.) and Alexis Connor (Sevierville, Tenn./Sevier Co.), Alex Pinger (Hendersonville, Tenn./Hendersonville), Jenna Bryan (Salisbury, N.C./Salisbury), Christine Fail (Concord, N.C./Cox Mill), Sidnee Edwards (Knoxville, Tenn./Karns), Whitney Curtis (Lake Mary Fla./Lake Mary Prep.), Noelle Morgano (Greenville, S.C./Wade Hampton), and Tandy Turk (Demorest, Ga./Habersham Central). Greeneville High School's Alyssa Crum is the lone goalkeeper in the class.

"I am very pleased with our signing class for 2011," Bonnes said. "I feel as though we have signed student-athletes that are the right fit for Carson-Newman in the classroom and on the field. This may be the largest signing class in Carson-Newman's history and our hopes are that it will be one of the most successful."

Under Bonnes in her first year at C-N, the Lady Eagles finished 2010 with an 11-7 record winning the South Atlantic Conference regular season title.

Jenna Bryan – D – Salisbury, N.C./Salisbury High School

Perfect 4.0 high school GPA …Member of national honors society…Five-sport star at Salisbury High School…All-County and All-Region selection in soccer…Named Iron Man Award Winner in cross country as a junior…Played soccer, basketball, and softball, as well as running cross country and track…Led her Salisbury High School team to a conference title…Has perfect attendance in high school and earned school's Spanish Award.

Bailee Wilson – D/M - Morristown, Tenn./Morristown West High School

Has a 4.0 high school GPA … Graduating with "First Honors"…Standout at nearby Morristown West High at High School…First team All-District and All-Region selection at Morristown West…Named Who's Who Class of 2011 among high school seniors.

Noelle Morgano – D – Greeneville, S.C./Wade Hampton High School

Has a 4.0 high school GPA…Two-sport athlete at Wade Hampton High School…Four-year letterman in both soccer and basketball…Served as team captain for both soccer and basketball as a senior…Member of the National Honors Society.

Sidnee Edwards – D/M – Knoxville, Tenn./Karns

Has a 3.29 high school GPA…Named District Player of the Year in 2010…Two-time first team All-Region selection…First team All-Distraict selection in all four years of high school…Team MVP as a junior and senior.

Christine Fail – D/M – Concord, N.C./Cox Mill High School

Has a 3.95 high school GPA …Soccer and track standout at Cox Mill High School in Concord, N.C…Member of school's honor roll all four years in high school…Member of Cox Mill High School Beta Club as a junior and senior.

Whitney Curtis  - F – Lake Mary, Fla./Lake Mary Prep.

Has a 3.84 high school GPA…Has a Standout at Lake Mary Prepatory School…Named team MVP from freshman through junior year……All-District selection as freshman, sophomore, and junior…Team captain from sophomore through senior year...Named to school's Dean's List and Academic Honor Roll…Also named to school's Merit Roll and earned Spanish II Academic Excellence Award.

Alyssa Crum – K – Greeneville, Tenn./Greeneville High School

Has a 3.69 high school GPA…Two-sport standout at Greeneville High School…Led GHS to state semifinal appearance in senior season…Earned two different All-State honors as a junior…Was named All-Conference and All-Region as a junior as well…Served as 2010 team captain…Member of the National Honors Society.

Emily Lambert – F – Morristown, Tenn./Morristown West High School

Has a 3.62 high school GPA …Led team to district regular season title and district tournament runners-up finish…Scored 54 career goals in high school…Earned All-Conference honors all four years and was named All-Region as a sophomore…Member of school's honor roll…Also earned Spanish honors.

Tandy Turk – F/M – Habersham Central High School
