INDIANAPOLIS — The Carson-Newman Lady Eagles are ranked ninth in the NCAA Southeast Region rankings, the NCAA Division II Women's Soccer Committee announced earlier this week.
The Lady Eagles are 7-5-0 against Division II opponents, all of which have been in-region matchups.
Belmont Abbey is listed first in the poll with a 13-0-1 record, while Armstrong Atlantic, Columbus State, UNC Pembroke and Lenoir-Rhyne round out the top five.
Wingate is the only other South Atlantic Conference school listed in the poll along with C-N and Lenoir-Rhyne.
The top six teams from the Southeast Region will be selected to participate in the NCAA Tournament.
