Eagles fall to North Georgia, 6-3

JEFFERSON CITY, Tenn. — The Carson-Newman men's tennis team dropped a 6-3 decision to North Georgia on Wednesday afternoon at the Carson-Newman Tennis Complex.

With the loss, the Eagles fall to 4-14 on the season.

Senior Adrian Kira (Brazil) and sophomore Paul Birdsong (Woodstock, Ga.) were the only Eagles to score points for C-N on the day. Kira and Birdsong teamed up at No. 2 doubles to claim a point. Kira also won at No. 4 singles, while Birdsong was victorious at No. 5 singles.

The Eagles return to the court on Friday at home against Mars Hill. Match time is set for 2 p.m.
