No. 38 Wingate claims 9-0 victory over Eagles

WINGATE, N.C. — The Carson-Newman men's tennis team dropped a 9-0 decision at No. 38 Wingate on Saturday in the Bulldogs' inaugural breast cancer awareness match at the Wingate University Tennis Complex.

The Eagles lost all three doubles matches to begin the day and were unable to claim a win in singles play.

With the loss, C-N falls to 3-8 on the season and 0-3 in the conference. The Bulldogs improve to 11-3 overall and 5-0 in SAC play.

The Eagles return to the court on Wednesday at Tusculum. Match time is set for 2 p.m.
