
C-N ranked for the tenth straight week

Going 1-1 this past week, Carson-Newman has now dropped in the rankings for the third straight week. C-N was 22nd in the previous set of WBCA rankings.
Carson-Newman is the only Southeast region team to be ranked for ten straight weeks in either the coaches or media poll.
In coach Mike Mincey's tenure, the program has now been ranked for 54 weeks, holding a 67-25 record when playing as a top 25 club.
Carson-Newman is one of four teams in the Southeast region ranked by the WBCA. North Georgia is the highest ranked team in the region at No. 5. Coker is the highest ranked team from the South Atlantic Conference, tied with Gannon for 16th. Belmont Abbey is the only ranked school from the Conference Carolinas, checking in at No. 21.
Conference Carolinas schools Chowan and UNC Pembroke are the only schools, in the region, receiving votes from the coaches. Chowan is one of just two remaining undefeated teams in DII women's college basketball.
