NORMAN, Okla. – For a second consecutive year, Tom Forster (Oundle, England) has landed on the Golf Coaches Association of America/Ping All-America list, this time as an honorable mention.

This latest honor comes a year after Forster was named a third-team All-American. He, Andrew Hall (2016) and Mark Sweeney (2000) are the only All-Americans the program has seen in the NCAA era (1992-present), both of the others being named honorable mentions, as well.

Forster is one of this year's 22 honorable mentions. He was named to the All-Southeast Region Team in May, the third straight year an Eagle had received the accolade.

The sophomore has built up quite the resume after a successful second season. He won his first career tournament at the Bobby Nichols Intercollegiate in March, carding a 203 total through three-rounds, notching the second-lowest 54-hole score in South Atlantic Conference history.

As his team went on to defend its SAC Championship title, he secured the top medalist award at the event, due in strong part to his 68 in the third round.

The two-time All-SAC First Teamer held a share of 15th at the South/Southeast Regional, allowing him to become the first Eagle in a decade to advance to the NCAA Division II Men's Golf Championship Final where he tied for 63rd with a 224 total.

Joining Forster on the All-America list are three other SAC golfers. Lincoln Memorial's Sam Broadhurst made the second team while Newberry's Carlos Leandro and Spencer Skiff landed on the second and honorable mention teams, respectively.
