Carson-Newman soccer announces 2023 summer goalkeeping camp

JEFFERSON CITY, Tenn. - Young up and coming goalkeepers are invited to hone in their skills at the 2023 Carson-Newman Soccer goalkeeper camps set for June 19-21. 

The three-day camp is open to both boys and girls ages 10-18 and will be held at McCown Field on the campus of Carson-Newman University in Jefferson City, Tenn.

For a $200 fee, campers will recieve a camp t-shirt and college style training sessions from one of the top Division-II soccer coaching staffs in the country. Check-in for all three days is set for 9:00 AM.

The first two days of the camp will run from 9:00 AM until 3:00 PM. Attendees will need to bring a bag lunch with them on those days. The opening days of the camp will be full of drills, including handling and footwork, crossing and distribution, and reacting to shots from different angles. The final day of the camp runs from 9:00 AM until Noon, and will feature goal-keeper based soccer games to fully test the campers newly learned skills.

All coaches are experienced and qualified professionals who have cleared background checks and are highly respected in their field of expertise.
