JEFFERSON CITY, Tenn.- In the latest United Soccer Division II Coaches Poll, Carson-Newman men's soccer (3-1-2, 1-0-1) has moved into the Top 25.

After receiving no votes in the first poll of the season, the Eagles climbed all the up to No. 19 in this week's poll. C-N was one of five other schools to jump into this week's poll after not receiving votes the week prior.

This marks the 67th time the Eagles are ranked in the Top 25 and the 55th time ranked in the top 20.

C-N is coming off a strong first week in South Atlantic Conference play. The Eagles railed for a 1-1 draw with Limestone last Wednesday and then defeated Anderson 1-0 on Saturday. Both results were road matches for C-N. The clean sheet against Andeson was C-N's first of the 2022 campaign.

Only one another SAC school was in the Top 25. Lenoir-Rhyne slots in at No. 6. The Bears are 4-0-1 this season. C-N travels to Lenoir-Rhyne Oct. 8th.

The Eagles return to the pitch Saturday when it welcomes Wingate to McCown field. Saturday's home match will be the first home game for C-N in 20 days.
