JEFFERSON CITY, Tenn.- Carson-Newman women's golf returns to the course tomorrow at the LeeAnn Noble Memorial tournament.
The Eagles will play 36 holes at Achasta Golf Club tomorrow and wrap up the tournament with 18 more holes on Tuesday. Achasta Golf Club is a par 72 that is 5,934 yards.
Carson-Newman has completed two tournaments this fall season. The Eagles began the season with a 9th place finish at the UIndy Invitational. Last time out, C-N finished 5th at the City with Spirit Fall Classic.
Competing for C-N will be Maeve Cummins, Hannah Holland, Ellie Haughton, Alice Thomas, and Madison Cline.
Cummins has been steady this fall for C-N. In her six rounds, her scoring average is 74.7. Her low round of the fall is a 72.
Holland has the lowest round of any Eagle this season with a 69. She also has played in both events and has a 77.3 scoring average.
Haughton will compete in her third consecutive tournament this fall season. She has a 80.7 scoring average in her six rounds this fall.
Cline and Thomas are in the lineup for the first time this season. Cline has played as an individual in the first two tournaments. Her low round was a 79. Thomas did not compete as a sophomore. Her freshman season, she competed in 12 rounds with a low score of a 78. Her scoring average in the 2020-21 season was 80.5.
