Carson-Newman Women's Golf announces 2023 Spring Schedule

JEFFERSON CITY, Tenn. – Carson-Newman women's golf has released its schedule for the 2023 spring season.

The team begins its season on February 20th and 21st at the Battle at Hilton Head, played at the Robert Trent Jones course at the Palmetto Dunes Oceanfront Resort. The Eagles are two-time winners of this event and will strive for its third straight win at this championship.

The Lady Eagles will stay in South Carolina, as a week later, C-N will head to Charleston, S.C. for the Low Tide event. C-N finished fourth in this event last season. Maeve Cummins (Waringstown, Northern Ireland) and Ellie Haughton (Lincolnshire, England) both finished in the top five in 2022.

C-N then returns home and will participate in the Bobby Nichols Intercollegiate on March 12th-14th. The Lady Eagles finished in second place at this event last season.

The regular season wraps up one week later, at the Dr. Jerry Surratt Women's Invitational played at Stonebridge Golf Club in Monroe, North Carolina.

The Lady Eagles get about 11 days off, before participating in the 2023 South Atlantic Conference Championships. The conference championship will be held at Cobbs Glenn Country Club, in Anderson, South Carolina on April 2-4. C-N finished third last season at the SAC Championships, its highest finish at the event since 2016.
