Snow alters golf schedule in Sevierville

SEVIERVILLE, Tenn. - Due to snow in the East Tennessee mountains, the schedule for the Bobby Nichols Intercollegiate in Sevierville has been altered.

Sunday's first round has been canceled and will now be used as a practice day, assuming the greens and range can be cleared for the teams. The tournament will now be a two-round, 36 hole tournament for both the men and women, with 18 holes on Monday, Mar. 14, and Tuesday, Mar. 15.

The women are still scheduled for an 8:30 am shotgun start with the men scheduled for a 10:00 AM shotgun start on Monday. However, start times could be pushed back to 12:00 PM for the women and 1:30 for the men on Monday, depending on weather conditions over the next two days.
